Day 1:

:   Pickup from Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station and transfer to Hotel in Chandigarh. After check in, visit of Rock Garden and Rose Garden. Rock Garden: The Rock Garden of Chandigarh is a sculpture garden for rock enthusiasts in Chandigarh. It is also known as Nek Chand Saini’s Rock Garden after its founder Nek Chand Saini. Today it is spread over an area of 40 acres. Rest of the day free for own activities and shopping.

Day 2:

After Breakfast transfer from Chandigarh to Shimla (115 km / 4 hours). After Check into hotel visit of the Mall Road Shimla (The Ridge). This large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Lakkar Bazar: Popular for its wood crafts and souvenirs, this is just off the Mall Road.

Day 3:

After Breakfast full day sightseeing of the places: KALI BARI TEMPLE: The famous Kalibari Temple of Shimla is a popular tourist attraction and is situated at a very strategic location. The temple was built in the year 1845 and is dedicated to Goddess Kali who is also known as Shyamala. JAKHOO TEMPLE (2.5 km): It is situated on Jakhoo Hill  at a height of 2,455 m (8,000 feet) above sea level. It is situated at  highest peak of Shimla and offers a panoramic view of the Shivalik Ranges. KUFRI (16 km): This is famous for its wide views and ski slopes. An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu Peak. At Kufri, Himachal Tourism runs Cafe Lalit.

Day 4:

After Breakfast transfer from Shimla to Manali (250 km / 7 hours). Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 5:

After Breakfast full day sightseeing of the places: Hadimaba Temple (1 km): Built in 1553, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Manu Temple (2 km): This is dedicated to the sage Manu situated at old Manali. Club House: The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Monasteries: There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali. Vashisth (3 km): Well known for its hot springs. Nehru Kund (6 km): Which is a clear water spring scenic spot named after the Late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

Day 6:

After breakfast full day visit of the Rohtang, Atul Tunnel and Solang Valley (14 km): In a picturesque setting this has good ski slopes and picnic spots. Rohtang Pass (51 km): Rohtang Pass is the ultimate and almost essential attraction of the itinerary. Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres. Rohtang pass is an experience of nature in one of its rawest forms possible, amongst mountain peaks covered with snow, breathtaking view and magnificent and sprawling landscapes and views. Note that the visit to Rohtang Pass for tourism purpose is depend on permits issued by National Green Tribunal (NGT) on daily quota basis. Only 800 Petrol and 400 Diesel vehicles are allowed to visit Rohtang Pass in one day.

If Rohtang pass is closed then we will take you to any one of the following places:

Option 1: Rohtang Pass upto Snow Line (Snow Line is a barrier point placed by the government to avoid life risks during heavy Snowfall) This spot is famous for adventurous roads and having traces of snow even in heated up summers. However, with increase in global warming few months can be devoid of snow yet the panoramic views that it offers are worth watching. On the way to Rohtang Pass, places to cover will be Kothi, Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi. Rohtang pass is closed on every Tuesday and during snowfall months/days. NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also limited the number of vehicles visiting Rohtang pass in a day. Thus, this sightseeing will be subject to permit obtained on the spot and extra cost (Permit + Vehicle charges). For more details please visit http://rohtangpermits.nic.in/

Option 2: Solang Valley (15 Kms from Manali) Summers or winters, this place never fails to fascinate the visitors. Summers offer enchanting greenery all around whereas the winters are blessed with amazing snowfalls. While visiting Solang Valley one should also try their hands on adventure activities as it is one of best place for adventures near Manali. Option 3: Any enroute place where our other guests are taking a halt, having fun in snow glaciers and enjoying plenty of adventure activities. Option 3: Atal Tunnel: Atal Tunnel is a highway tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway in Himachal Pradesh, India. At a length of 9.02 km, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world and is named after former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Day 7:

After early breakfast transfer from Manali to Dharamshala (250 km / 8 hours) and en route visit of the places: Kullu Valley: Kullu Valley is a broad open valley in Himachal Pradesh, formed by the Beas River between Manali and Largi. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards. Manikaran: Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley on river Parvati in Kullu. It is at an altitude of 1760 m and is located 35 km from Kullu. This small town attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its hot springs and pilgrim centres. Baijnath Shiv Temple: The Baijnath temple has been continuously under worship ever since its construction in 1204 A.D. by two local merchants named Ahuka and Manyuka. The two long inscriptions in the porch of the temple indicate that a temple of Siva existed on the spot even before the present one was constructed. The present temple is a beautiful example of the early medieval north Indian temple architecture known as Nagara style of temples. Mata Chamunda Devi Temple: Chamunda Devi Temple is located at a distance of 16 km from Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh. Dedicated to goddesses Durga or Chamunda (Hindu deity), the surroundings of the temple provide an excellent venue for meditation prayers and spiritual attainments. The Chamunda Devi Temple is said to be more than 700 years old. Night stay at hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 8:

After breakfast full day sightseeing of the places: Naddi Village (12 km) – Naddi village is a Tribal Village above from Dal Lake and magnificent view of Dhauladhar snow mountain range from here. Sahaja Yoga Ashram & Meditation Centre (12 km):  Sahaja Yoga Ashram is situated in the beautiful, natural and peaceful location of Talnoo near the famous International Sahaja School in Village Naddi. In the Ashram meditation centre is open to public for free meditation and realization. Dal Lake (10 km): Dal Lake is a small mid-altitude lake near the Mcleodganj Dharamshala. The lake is surrounded by deodar trees and is considered to be a sacred spot as there is small Shiva Temple on its bank. St. John church (8 km): The St. John’s Church leaves traces of British rule in the country, located near Mcleodganj in Dharamshala. It came into existence in the year 1852. It has a very peaceful and calm look to it. St. John’s Church has decorated glass windows. Bhagsunag Waterfall (12 km):  Bhagsunag Waterfall is among the most famous attractions of Mcleodganj Dharamshala. Located in the serene village of Bhagsu, the waterfall has a height of 20m. It is also visited by many devotees due to the presence of a temple nearby which dedicated to Lord Shiva. Crystal-clear waters, an adventurous trail and sights of hills makes it one of the most beautiful tourist point of Mcleodganj. Mcleodganj & Dalai Lama (Namgyal) Monastery (9 km): Mcleodganj is a suburb of Dharamshala in Himachal. It is known as “Little Lhasa” or “Dhasa” because of its large population of Tibetans. The Tibetan government-in-exile is headquartered in McLeod Ganj.  Mcleodganj was established in the mid-1850s as a British garrison and this time Mcleodganj has become a major centre for the study of Buddhism and Tibetan culture. Tsuglagkhang, The Dalai Lama’s temple complex (Namgyal Monastery) is the life-blood of the Mcleodganj. The H.H. Dalai Lama temple is located a short walk away from the market. Tibetan Library (2 km): The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives is a Tibetan library in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The library was founded by Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama on 11 June 1970, and is considered one of the most important libraries and institutions of Tibetan works in the world. Kangra Art Museum (500 mtr): The Kangra Art Museum is located at the centre of Kotwali Bazar in Dharamshala. A must visit place for art lovers and history buffs. The prime attraction of the Kangra Art Museum is the miniature paintings have to be looked into for its intricate and mesmerizing work. The museum also hosts some space where artists can be found painting and displaying their work. Tea Gardens Dharamshala (1 km): The smallest tea region of Dharamshala has beautifully lined and organized tea gardens across the Kangra Valley. It is known for its good quality tea and is available for purchase in many shops across Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. War Memorial (1 km): War Memorial is located at the entry point of the Dharamshala town and it was built to commemorate the memory of those who fought valiantly for the honour of their motherland. The War Memorial in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh is one of the most visited places and every Himachali takes pride of this amazing place. The surrounding of the war memorial is extremely beautiful and you can see the beautiful landscape gardens and poetic little paths around the war memorial while crossing the paths. Cricket Stadium Dharamshala (1 km): The Dharamshala Cricket Stadium ground has a snow-capped background in the form of the Dauladhar hill-range. The mountains add to the serenity of the venue, which lies at an altitude of 1317 metres above sea level. Another impressive feature is its openness and small-sized stands, which allow for winds to sweep across. Norbulinga Tibetan Handicraft Institute (8 km): The institute is named after Norbulingka, the traditional summer residence of the H.H. Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, Tibet. The main building is a replica of the Norbulingka palace in Lhasa. Founded by the Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the institute contains the Centre for Arts, the Academy of Tibetan Culture, the Literary and Cultural Research Centre and the library and publications department. The Norbulingka Foundation was established in 1995 for the preservation of ancient art practices of Tibet, especially crafts.

Day 9:

After Breakfast transfer from Dharamsala to Dalhousie (130 km / 4 hours). After check into hotel, sightseeing of the places: Panchpula Waterfalls in Dalhousie is a scenic place, which is surrounded by picturesque mountains and green valleys. Satdhara Falls (3 km): Satdhara Falls comes on the way while travelling to Panchpula from Dalhousie. This stunning Satdhara fall derives its name from the seven beautiful springs that flows from a height of 2036 meters. Subhash Baoli: (1 km): Subhash Baoli is located at a distance of around 1 km from Dalhousie has been named after Subhash Chandra Bose, the famous freedom fighter. In 1937, he had spent a lot of time in Dalhousie at this place. Subhash Baoli is a beautiful spot circumscribed by several and huge towering trees. St. John Church: St. John Church is one of the oldest church in Dalhousie. It is located in Gandhi Chowk and is one of the more popular spot for those who love photography, due to its steady mix of beauty and history. Gandhi Chowk & Subhash Chowk Dalhousie: Gandhi Chowk and Subhash Chowk is the lifeline of Dalhousie. Where you can spent time on Shopping and Eating. Gandhi Chowk Market is located at a convenient distance of just 15 minutes from the Central Bus Station. It is one of the most bustling places in the city and always packed with locals and tourists who come here not only to shop but also to relax, chill out and eat. Night stay at Dalhousie.

Day 10:

: After breakfast full day sightseeing of the places: Bara Pather Dalhousie (4 km): Bara Pather is a famous temple in Dalhousie that attracts a lot of visitor every day. It is located amidst the quiet and pristine surroundings of Chamba Valley and is dedicated to Bhulwani Mata. The tourists love visiting this place for its excellent views of the snow-clad Himalayas. Dainkund Peak (12 km): Dainkund Peak is the highest peak in Dalhousie and famous as tourist spot where people come to experience the beautiful views and sense of calmness that this location has to offer with such a serene setting. Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary (12 km): Kalatop hill in Dalhousie is famous for many reasons and one such reason is the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, which is one of the most beautiful places in Dalhousie that draws tourists and make them fall in love with the place. This high altitude forest area is located at an average elevation of 2,500 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of thick pine, deodar, and oak forests. Khajjiar Lake (22 km): The Khajjiar lake is a paradise which makes one realize that there is no place like it in the whole world. On a clear and sunny day, tourist can enjoy the amazing view of Mount Kailash from the Khajjiar Lake. It is also known as Mini Switzerland of India. The main attraction of the Khajjiar lake is the floating island which is actually a cluster of grass and weed growing on the surface of the lake. Night stay at Dalhousie.

Day 11:

After breakfast proceed to Amritsar (200 km / 6 hours), After check into hotel visit of the  Wagah Border: The international border between India and Pakistan, the pomp and pageantry of the Beating Retreat and the Change of Guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces makes for a most charming spectacle. The daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags, as the sun goes down. The retreat ceremony starts at 5:15 PM in summer and 4:15 PM in the winter season. The total time duration of the ceremony is 45 minutes. The entrance to the venue is open from 10 AM to 4 PM. Golden Temple: The holiest temple in Sikhism and home to the Guru Granth Sahib, which is a focus of devotion during the day before being ‘put to bed’ each evening. The temple is arguably at its best at night, when it’s illuminated and the central promenade leading to the inner sanctum is lit with strings of lights. Chanting begins as the book is placed upon an embroidered pillow and carried to the Akal Takht, a five-tiered marble building, to rest for the night.

Day 12:

After Breakfast visit again visit of the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh. Later transfer to Amritsar Airport or Railway Station for onward destination.
